BOOKING CONDITIONS
Applies to package trips arranged by Verdeful in accordance with the Swedish Package Travel Act and the requirements of Kammarkollegiet.
1. General Information
Verdeful (company reg. no. [insert]) is a Swedish travel agency offering individually tailored package trips to northern Minho, Portugal. We are supervised by Kammarkollegiet and have provided the mandatory travel guarantee. These terms apply between Verdeful and the traveller when purchasing a package trip.
2. Agreement and Booking
A binding agreement is formed when the traveller receives a booking confirmation from Verdeful.
The traveller is responsible for checking that all details in the confirmation are correct.
3. Payment
- A deposit of [insert amount or percentage] is due at the time of booking.
- Final payment must be made no later than [number of days] before departure.
- If payment is not received on time, Verdeful may cancel the booking.
4. What the Trip Includes
The services included in the package trip are specified in the trip description and booking confirmation.
Optional activities or add‑ons are listed separately.
5. Traveller Responsibilities
The traveller is responsible for:
- holding a valid passport and required travel documents
- following local rules and safety instructions
- informing Verdeful of any special needs or health conditions
- being reachable before and during the trip
6. Changes Requested by the Traveller
Changes may be requested up to [number of days] before departure.
Administrative fees and supplier costs may apply.
7. Cancellation
The following cancellation terms apply:
- More than [number of days] before departure: refund minus deposit
- [Number of days]–[number of days] before departure: traveller pays [percentage] of the total price
- Later than [number of days] before departure: no refund
Travellers are advised to purchase cancellation insurance.
8. Changes Made by Verdeful
Since Verdeful arranges individual package trips, the trip is not dependent on a minimum number of participants.
Minor adjustments may occur due to weather, safety or local conditions.
In case of significant changes, the traveller may:
- accept the change
- rebook to another trip
- cancel without cost
9. Force Majeure
Verdeful is not liable for disruptions, changes or cancellations caused by force majeure. Force majeure refers to events beyond the control of Verdeful or the traveller, which could not reasonably have been foreseen or avoided. This includes, but is not limited to:
- natural disasters (e.g. storms, floods, earthquakes, wildfires)
- epidemics or pandemics
- political unrest, strikes or security‑related incidents
- government decisions, travel bans or border closures
- major disruptions to transport or infrastructure
In the event of force majeure, the traveller is entitled to a refund of the trip price if the trip must be cancelled, but not to additional compensation or damages. Verdeful will always inform the traveller as soon as possible and assist with reasonable alternatives if available.
10. Liability and Limitations
Verdeful is responsible for delivering the package trip according to the agreement and the Package Travel Act.
We are not responsible for:
- personal belongings
- damages caused by the traveller's own actions
- events outside our control (force majeure)
11. Complaints
Any issues must be reported to Verdeful or the local supplier as soon as possible.
If the issue cannot be resolved on site, a written complaint may be submitted within [number of days] after returning home.
12. Personal Data
Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and shared only with local partners when necessary to deliver the trip.
13. Travel Guarantee
Verdeful has provided a travel guarantee with Kammarkollegiet in accordance with Swedish law.
14. Governing Law and Disputes
Swedish law applies. Disputes may be referred to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN) or Swedish courts.
